The Chart

The chart shows our intended route around Long Island - proceeding "counter-clockwise" so as to take advantage of the prevailing breezes that come from the south-west.

You will soon see a series of blue "pins" that will show where we have been, and where we are, as of the most recent post to this blog.  Then, another pin, a red pin, will show where we expect to be "tomorrow."  Since we will be making our reports at the end of the day, once we are settled-in for the evening, the final pin will represent where we expect to be "tomorrow," - which, by the time you get to look at the page, may quite well be:  "today."    Well, then, if you followed all that, you are good.

If we do a good job with the blog posts - all this will be perfectly clear!   Now, if you find that you will be in the vicinity of the "tomorrow" position, the red pin, be sure to contact us as soon as possible, so that we can plan how to get together for a bit of refreshment.  That way, we can meet up and get the benefit of your local knowledge about the next leg of the trip.
